The all new Nissan Teana is the car for you. At almost five metres long, the all new Teana could embarrass some limousines and at this length it promises to offer loads of road presence as well. The interior of the Teana certainly is better than before. The original car’s cabin scored for quality but the design was not to everyone’s taste. Nissan has smartly borrowed parts from its luxury car division, Infiniti, for the Teana. The centre console gets a nice big dial just below the main screen and a combination of faux wood and brushed metal across the cabin. The rear seat, which has always been a Teana trump card, now promises to become even better. The height is perfect and the seats envelop you in brilliant comfort. Expect the new car to be sold with the same 2.4 litre V6 engine that is offered currently but there is also an all new 2.5 litre 4 cylinder unit has been introduced in China which could make its way to India.

The New Ikon will be given an all new face similar to the new Fiesta. As you can see from the computer generated image here, the subtle changes to the headlights are obvious. The front bumper has been given a prominent air intake below the numberplate. The rear remains largely unchanged. You can also expect the 1.4 litre TDCi motor from the Fiesta to arrive in the Ikon. The diesel Fieats outsells the petrol variants by well over 70 percent. That should help Ford pull away some buyers from Maruti’s Swift Dzire diesel. The car is still distinctly a Ford with styling cues taken from the European Fiesta. The interiors will remain largely unchanged except for the instrument cluster which gets new dials. Ford obviously has no plans to discontinue the Ikon. Though we are not sure about the equipment levels, we expect the new ikon to be competitively priced and we expect it to undercut both the Logan and Dzire on price.
