The third-largest luxury carmaker in the Indian market, Audi India has recently announced the launch of the limited edition Q7 4.2 TDI in the Indian market. Priced at Rs.66,12,500 the germen carmaker is surely attempting to strengthen its foothold in the luxury SUV market with the launch of the limited edition Q7.Audi India shares his excitement, “The product truly signifies our DNA of Vorsprung durch Technik and the new Q7 boasts of the most powerful diesel engine in its segment.”Moreover, the new Q7 is capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds with a top speed of 240 km and still giving the user an impeccable mileage of around 9.9 litres for per 100 kilometres.The new Q7 will be joining the product range of Audi that today offers Audi A4, the Audi A6, the Audi A8, the Audi Q5, the Audi Q7, the Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 in the Indian market. Moreover, Audi has a plan to reach the top slot in the Indian market by 2015 wherein the fight is today is more between the two players, BMW and Mercedes.

he new Audi A6 Allroad quattro is developed on the base of current generation Audi A6 Avant, just like the first generation. From the stock A6 the difference is air suspension, different bumpers, different grill, quattro Four wheel drive and other elements already in the stock model. First generation Audi A6 Allroad quattro appeared in 2000. It remained as the only car of this class. It was so, because with the same ideology made Subaru Outback and Volvo XC70 were not its direct competitors, since they were smaller and cheaper. At the time the Audi brand direct competitors BMW and Mercedes-Benz were more focused on the SUV’s – X5 and ML. Soon Audi did the same with Q7. However Audi also made a new A6 Allroad quattro.

The biggest difference in exterior from stock A6 are chrome details on the body. Interior of Audi A6 Allroad quattro is an analogue to the stock A6. About its off road characteristics tells plastic caps that protects it from scratches. However, unlike the previous generation model, these plastic elements are painted and gives elegance to the car. Despite the relatively large potential maximum clearance (7,3 inches), Audi A6 Allroad quattro with its silhouette looks more like a traditional wagon.
